Lillypad: Null Update

Posted in: Articles, Lilly Pad by preitz on

In any project, it’s important to make regular updates. Even if there is no visible progress. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted an update, and this may give the impression that this project hasn’t been moving forward. In fact I’ve been quite busy.

What I’ve been working on over the last week or so is building an actual game with this library. It’s a simple sudoku game. Quite a bit of work has been done on it, and it’s nearly complete. I Still have a couple of features to add. It’s quite a different thing working on a real world project with this API rather than just proof of concept demos. And it has exposed new features I need to add and a couple of bugs. But I already knew this would happen, and it was actually part of the plan.

So I just ask a little patience while I finish up this game. When it’s complete, I will post the game, along with the source code as an example of how the library works. I’ll also be posting a sort of pre-alpha dev release of the API. So look forward to that in the next week or so.
